Painting on the Road: Seville, Spain

Ever tried to paint a hummingbird in flight? That's what it's like trying to paint a flamenco dancer in action. I took my pastels to our neighborhood flamenco bar and got a pretty good gesture drawing, but that was about it. So I sat back, drank another vino tinto, ate some more aceitunas, and enjoyed the scene.

  1. Good for you for trying...taking your pastels to the flameco bar and going for it! I love it!

Are those woodcut prints in the picture of Pedro and his art? I love those pieces! What was he working on?

  2. Debbie, I'm not sure if they were woodcuts or lino cuts; he had other prints that were also very nice!
