This is a beautiful painting!Celeste Berginhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06791708298070342301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153977977339821010.post-54949137209827713102011-12-21T12:07:42.833-08:002011-12-21T12:07:42.833-08:00I neglected to mention how "sensual" pas...I neglected to mention how "sensual" pastels are. I suppose that's partly because they're applied by hand so there's the touch, but also the texture--many brands are silky/creamy smooth and go on like butter. And what about the ways the rods & cones in the ole eyeballs get fired up by the chroma?! I have little "bits & pieces" of pastels that I can share with you to play around with, Mary. Who knows, maybe I'll convert you!Sarah Bachhuber Peroutkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15739927073272973890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153977977339821010.post-20860572580042367532011-12-21T10:17:51.323-08:002011-12-21T10:17:51.323-08:00That's a beautiful painting, Sarah! I'd love to hear how your friend's experiment with encaustic wax on top works.<br />Merry Christmas!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15685952017183050898noreply@blogger.com
